1. When you arrive ON SITE at a Distribution facility (RDC), open MiKro-Z and touch the logo to move forward.

2. Select the ON SITE button to start its timer. Confirm schedule details. Select right arrow.

3. Add RDC name and location. Select DELIVERY or COLLECTION. Add Load Temp: AMBIENT, CHILLED or FROZEN. Select right arrow.

4. After moving on to a Bay, select the pulsing ON BAY button to start its timer. IF you are NOT at an RDC that uses operational signal lights, wait until your vehicle is processed then select the OFF BAY button to stop its timer (10)

If you ARE at an RDC that uses operational signal lights then before the LOADING or UNLOADING process begins - secure your phone upright in a standard window mount holder - tightly held so that it does not move about - Select Bay Watch

5. Position the active BAY light reflected in your truck mirror, in the centre of the Red or Green cursor box. Use the zoom slider to make the light fill the box, trying not to go outside its border.

Select the Bay Watch button.

6. If the active BAY light was positioned correctly you will see a Blue border around the screen. Select CONFIRM

7. The WAITING screen confirms the MiKro-Z Bay Watch process is now monitoring the BAY lights for changes in their operational status.

Now instead of constantly watching the BAY lights in your truck mirror you can choose to take it easy and Recharge a little.

8. The LOADING screen confirms MiKro-Z has detected a change in the operational status of the BAY lights and your vehicle is now being loaded (or unloaded if you indicated you were DELIVERING at the RDC).

9. The READY screen indicates MiKro-Z has detected a further change in the operational status of the BAY lights and the LOADING or UNLOADING process has now completed.

MiKro-Z sounds an Alarm to alert you and continues until STOP is selected. 

10. MiKro-Z moves to the OFF BAY screen. Time to sort out your paperwork, collect the vehicle keys. And when ready to go select the pulsing OFF BAY button.

11. Selecting OFF BAY stops the ON BAY timer and moves MiKro-Z to the OFF SITE screen. Selecting the pulsing OFF SITE button stops the ON SITE timer.

We know not all RDCs have loading bays with operational signal lights where the Bay Watch process can be used, and that some just have an area to be processed. Thats why at those locations we have made MiKro-Z so you can save and record your arrival, and departure times ON SITE and OFF SITE, and your loading area timing data too!

And all timing data is saved and can be viewed whenever you want in the Activity Tool. 

12. Before leaving the RDC you could check My ON SITE RECORD to see how long each operational process took at the current location, like;

• Total time ON SITE

• Time ON BAY

• Time WAITING

• Time LOADING or UNLOADING

And how much BAY WATCH time was recorded, perhaps comparing it with previous visits to the RDC to see if it was similar, longer or shorter.

You can also add notes to remind yourself if something particular happened at an RDC that you want to remember for later.

13. The Share feature allows you to directly circulate your RDC Activity Data on social media with other truckers. This is particularly useful if contributing to forums that track and comment on Waiting times at RDCs.

Perhaps you experienced a particularly long wait at a facility known for being inefficient and want to make others aware: or you were processed in a very fast time.
